Selling More Online, Part II

Here's the 2nd most important piece of advice on how to sell more online -- from the recent WCBS Small Business Breakfast.

The first advice was to make sure all the title tags are filled out on each web page.

Now set up a special seperate landing page for the clicks you get from ads.

Len Muscarella of Interactive Media in Parsippany said make it easy easy for incoming customers.

He says, "a lot of people make the mistake of buying and works and then dropping them all off at their homepage, which may have nothing to do with the search term that people used.

So what we've done with a lot of people is specialized landing pages."

Create a landing page for clicks so that hot prospects don't have to click all the way through your site from your home page.
