Parsippany, NJ (August 28, 2001) Interactive Media Associates, Inc., a leading Internet eCommerce planning, development and marketing services firm, today announced its engagement with the prestigious Mason Gross School of the Arts, the arts conservatory of Rutgers University. Under the terms of this engagement, Interactive Media Associates (IMA) will redesign the current web site to make it more dynamic and vital, as well as help the school plan for interactive features in the future, potentially including eCommerce ticket sales for its projected Arts Center, faculty searches, a calendar of events, bulletin boards, and other possibilities.
The Mason Gross School of the Arts is the arts conservatory of Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. As such, it is a professional school offering undergraduate and graduate degrees in dance, music, theater arts, and visual arts. The school has four undergraduate and three graduate departments, with a combined enrollment of about 1,000 students. The faculty of 140 and the tremendous facilities offer students a superb environment to cultivate their skills and develop into artists of talent and enthusiasm.
The School turned to IMA because they wanted a new site that would reflect their reputation for quality and excellence. They were also looking for a partner that would help them extend their capabilities on the Internet.
"IMA is delighted to be working with Mason Gross School of the Arts," said Len Muscarella, president of IMA. "Our work in our arts and non profit concentrations, with clients such as the New York City Ballet, the New Jersey Shakespeare Festival, Carnegie Council for Ethics and International Affairs and The Juilliard School were instrumental in the School’s selection of our company. We are planning great things for the web site, helping them realize their vision of a dramatic, dynamic site that will serve their diverse audiences – students, faculty, alumni, and administration."
