Parsippany, NJ (November 21, 2005) Interactive Media Associates, Inc. (IMA), a leading Internet service provider, today announced that it is a Silver winner in the 2005 Davey Awards competition. IMA was honored for its outstanding creative work for a CD-ROM Media kit adeveloped for the Yellow Pages Association.
Len Muscarella, President of IMA, said: "We are pleased to be included among the select group honored by the Davey Awards inaugeral competition. We feel we are a good match for the type of companies that the organization says it seeks to celebrate — the “Davids” of creativity, the finest small firms, agencies and companies in the world. The annual International Davey Awards honors the achievements of the "Creative Davids" who derive their strength from big ideas, rather than big budgets — something we at IMA excel in doing."
IMA won a Silver Award for the Yellow Pages Association’s online media kit. The media kit, created entirely in Macromedia Flash, allows users to interact with a virtual yellow pages “book” that contains statistics about the effectiveness of combining the Yellow Pages with other media, information about the industry, the use of the Yellow Pages in new technologies, and next steps in finding a certified marketing representative. This kit, which is distributed on a business-card size CD-ROM, also provides the user with updates if the application is viewed in an online environment.
