Developers, Marketers, and Kentico fans from all over the country gathered last week at the Seaport Boston Hotel for the 2014 Kentico Connection. From November 10th – 11th event goers had the option of attending sessions in three different tracks- Developer, Marketing, and Real World Case Studies.
While a majority of sessions were given by Kentico’s talented staff; additional sessions were presented by Kentico’s MVPs and partners to further enhance the CMS product and to demonstrate how they are using Kentico to create customizable solutions. Industry experts also spoke about important trending issues, such as building a digital business strategy and creating a digital workplace.
Some of the various topics discussed over the two days period include:
- Delivering a personalized experience online
- Kentico’s ecommerce solution
- The future of mobile
- Kentico’s 2015 Partner Updates
- Marketing Automation
- Social Marketing within Kentico
- Using Macros
- Building mobile native applications
Additionally, this year’s conference featured a live broadcast of the CMS Connected Show. This is a monthly webinar that explores various trending news in the Content Management System space. Hosted by Scott Liewehr and Butch Stearns, this particular webinar was on how to avoid common CMS implementation pitfalls. It was a great way to get the session’s viewers interacting with the panelist.
The final highlight of the conference was the social event sponsored by Kentico at the Harpoon Brewery in Boston. This was an excellent opportunity for customers and partners to share their Kentico insights while enjoying a specialty beer and homemade pretzel. iBrowse even attended the event and had the chance to join in on a tour of the brewery.
Overall, the 2014 Kentico Connection provided us new ideas and tools that we are looking forward to utilizing not only for ourselves but our clients as well.
